Directions to the Troll and Tulip from King Shaka International Airport
Follow the signs to the N2 south (Durban city centre). Continue along the N2 past the N3 /Durban / Pietermaritzburg off ramp and take the first off ramp there after. Take the M7 (Bluff /Queensburgh) off ramp. (first off ramp past the main road N3 into Durban) Turn left at the traffic lights into Solomon Mahlangu (Edwin Swales). Continue until you come to the R102/Umbilo/city off ramp. Take this off ramp. (you come to a concrete road) Pass through a pedestrian crossing and at the next traffic lights turn left into Stellawood Road .( Hockey stadium is on the right). Turn left at the stop into Bartle Road (Stella Park Bowling club is on the left corner). Turn right into Prospect Road (Maytex surf shop, tearoom and bottlestore) Drive to the top of the hill just past tearoom turn left into Brettonwood ave.
From Pietermaritzburg - Directions to the Troll and Tulip Bed & Breakfast
(Take the Westville) M32 St James Ave/Spine Rd off ramp (third off ramp after the toll). Turn right at the traffic lights (back over the freeway). Follow Spine Rd (Pavilion on the left) past the hospital and keep going (past sports fields on left) until you get to traffic lights with Steers/Debonairs on the right and the varsity on the left (the top of a hill) (about 6km from the Pavillion). Turn right at these traffic lights into Queen Mary Ave. Go around the bend and turn right into Feilden Dr (park on the left). Turn left into Prospect Rd (second road past the cemetery). First right into Brettonwood Ave. The Troll and Tulip is about 200m down the road on the left. No. 76.
